My name is Angel Avelar. I was raised in Flower Mound, TX. Growing up my mother had a landscaping company, in which she taught me the basics of planting, designing, etc. In 2008 I moved to Fort Worth and started an unsuccessful landscaping company where I developed a skill for designing and installing landscapes at a residential level. It was not until I met my soon-to-be wife Ildeliza, in 2018 that she helped me re-discover a passion I once had had for a particular plant called an Agave. We started buying agaves together, and when the agaves grew little "pups" we would pot them up for fun. What started out as a hobby we slowly turned into a business, and so we created company Coyote Trail Nursery together. We don't have any mountains in North Texas where rare plants grow, but we do have some Yuccas and cacti that grow off the beaten trail where the coyotes may roam.
